Keshia Jacques dropped a perfect bunt to advance the runner to third. Janelle Ruetz hit a solid single to drive in the winning run. Palmerston made three great outs in the bottom half of the inning to win the game 8-7, and qualify for Grands in St. Catharines on Aug. 6 to 8.
