Stanley McTaggart

Stanley McTaggart of Harriston passed away at Guelph General Hospital on Monday, July 12, 2010 at the age of 80.
Husband of the late Wilma (Brindley) McTaggart. Father of Wayne McTaggart of Listowel and Mary Lou Mallett and her husband David of Harriston, and father-in-law of Cheryl McTaggart of Elmira. Grandfather of Melissa McTaggart and her friend Bryan Knapp, Carla and Adam Balkwill, Craig and Deris McTaggart, Amy Mallett and her fiancé Peter Hertz, and Kyle Mallett.
Brother of Russell and Loraine McTaggart of Sauble Beach, and Irene Cushing of Elora; and brother-in-law of Marion McTaggart of London and Pat McTaggart of St. Catharines.
Predeceased by his brothers Donald McTaggart and Gordon McTaggart.
Friends called at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Wednesday, July 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Thursday, July 15 at 1:30 p.m.
Pallbearers were Craig McTaggart, Kyle Mallett, John Fruin, Len Brindley, Jim McLaughlin and Michael Douglas. Flowerbearers were Amy Mallett, Melissa McTaggart, Carla Balkwill, Deris McTaggart and Heather Inman.
Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
