Marie Foran

Marie Foran of Harriston passed away at Palmerston and District Hospital on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the age of 64.
She was the sister of Art and Donna Marie Foran of Harriston, and Verna and Murray Walker of Norland. Marie was the aunt of Kristin Foran, Jeff Walker, Terry Foran, Lisa Owen, Jennifer Prescott, and Paul Prescott, and special great-aunt of Alec Walker, P.J. Owen and Dylan Owen.
She was predeceased by her parents Edgar and Marjorie (Morris) Foran, by her brother Allan Foran and by her sister Betty Prescott.
A private family service will be held, with interment in Harriston Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Palmerston and District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.

Kenneth Dick

Kenneth Douglas Dick of Palmerston passed away suddenly at his residence on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the age of 56.
Loving father of Jamie and his wife Liz of Elmira and Jennifer of Brampton; and proud Grandpa of Chloe and Avery.
Dear brother of Joan and her husband Clare Dietrich of Moorefield, Karen Thompson of Listowel,  Shirley Dick of Palmerston, Ron Dick of Palmerston, Barbara Sampson of Palmerston, Sharon and her husband Gary Thackery of Harriston, Dorothy Dick of Palmerston, Debbie and her husband Randy Young of Kitchener, Carol Dick of Listowel, and John Dick and his wife Shelly of Palmerston; brother-in-law of Marion Dick of Palmerston; and fondly remembered by his aunts and uncle, Earl Lambier and his wife Ella of Gowanstown and Betty Lambier of Palmerston, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents John Alexander Dick (1964) and Helen Marie (Lambier) Dick (1996), one sister Donna Marie Dick (2000), and two brothers John Maurice Dick (2001) and Jim Dick (2007).
To honour Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held in the spring, followed by interment in the family plot in Palmerston Cemetery.

Viola Homuth

Viola Homuth of Harriston passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Friday, March 5, 2010 at the age of 86.
Beloved wife of Carol E. Homuth, and dear mother of Carol Anne Whelan and her husband Steve of Scarborough, and Vicky Schinkel and her husband John of Oakville.
Remembered by her granddaughters Jessica Morofke and her husband Darren, Beverly Antunes and her husband Chris, Alison Ivy and her husband Ryan, and Rebecca Schinkel.
Predeceased by her parents Vaino and Carrie Suomela.
Friends called at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held at Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Tuesday, March 9 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Harriston Cemetery

Victor Carley

Victor Carley of Harriston passed away peacefully at North Wellington Health Care, Palmerston on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the age of 85.
Dear brother of Gordon and Marlene (Hurlbut) Carley and brother-in-law of Lela (Schieck) Carley. Fondly remembered by his three nieces, Janette, Jolene and Karen; and his greatnieces and greatnephews David, Carley, Micayla and Joel.
Predeceased by his parents Viola and Cecil Carley, one brother Elgin Carley and one nephew Kevin Carley
