Everett Holland

Everett Holland passed away at his home in Harriston on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012 at the age of 83.
Everett was the beloved husband of Elaine (Kerr) Holland, and father of Robert Holland and his wife Diane of Kitchener, Betty MacDougall and her husband Gary of Harriston, Linda Hoffarth and her husband Allan of Breslau, and Gordon Holland and his wife Cathy of Minto Township.
Grandfather of Peter and Shannon Holland, Paul and Teresa Holland, Laura Holland, Jonathan Holland, Jeffery and Jasmine Holland, David Hoffarth, Katie and Kevin Boodhoo, and Carol and Rick Stanners and great-grandfather of Connor, Kaden, Kendra, Tyler, Ella and Bentley.
Brother of Harry and Gail Holland of Stoney Plains, Alberta and Shirley Dadswell of Port Elgin, and brother-in-law of Elizabeth Holland of Harriston.
Predeceased by his grandson Kenneth Holland, by his sisters Rheta Clancy and husband Ross, and Margaret Perrin and husband Lloyd, by his brother George Holland, and by his brother-in-law Art Dadswell.
Friends called on Wednesday, Jan. 11 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston, where the funeral service was held on Thursday, Jan. 12 at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Harriston Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Peter Holland, Paul Holland, Lynn Collins, Murray Noble, Ken Pike and Ernie Dunlop with Katie Boodhoo and Carol Stanners as flower bearers, and Harold Craig as an honorary bearer.
Memorial donations to Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
